The name is Joey Ashley. Most just call me Jo'. I'm an entertainment business grad-student. Born and raised in Miami, FL. Cinema-TV artist that directs, produces, writes and edits short film(s)/video(s).
I'm very much a story-teller. My whole life motto is "Everyone Has A Story". I simply believe we are all characters and every character in God's story has a story that can be told. As you can imagine, I love the art of cinema as well as photography. I'm an Abolitionist of human-trafficking and I'm a very head-strong, creative and a thought-provoking person. I'm known as the Intense and psychological-driven film guy. I'm very much spontaneous and will not settle for less. I like to take risks, chances & just do the things people only imagine, I like taking that extra mile over the edge.
Weird, crazy, annoying, demanding, blunt and completely authentic, just a few words to describe myself. I give It to you crystal clear In HD quality. I have a passion for anything redemptive & cautionary. I believe In anything & everything that can send a powerful message & allows an individual to rethink their choices In life. If It doesn't allow you to use your mind, then there is nothing to value for it. My life passions are photography, spoken word & especially the art of cinema. I'm a story-telling artist that has experience in all aspects of Film/Video-making Including: short films & videos, public service announcements, music video(s) & promotional work. I have basically served all positions in film, But mostly screen-writing, producing, editing & creative directing.
I'm an intense and analytical person who has a question for every thing. I'm open-minded and just might be the most spontaneous guy you will ever meet or won't meet. I live for a life to a closer relationship to God and Just have the greatest compassion, faith & hope for society. Please, do not expect anything from me, because I'm too random for your expectations! Did you know you will walk by a million people during your lifetime and never meet those million?...Think about it, a mind is truly a terrible thing to waste. Think. Process & Become.
